Lost Sheep
Lost Sheep was created just as I was finishing college. My roommates, Joe Barach and Dave Dorosko helped me tote a pro Hi-8 camera around the region for a few months. We scoured home videos for footage and asked friends for cool shots they had. It culminated in a 30 hour editing session on a Media 100 editing system. I worked in the Media Services department and had access to the equipment. They locked us in overnight to finish the piece. We managed to make the master copy on Beta-SP and two or three dubs before they finally kicked us out. It looks terrible and sounds awful. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who doesn’t personally know someone in the film.
